Trauma Therapist, Supervisor & EMDR Practitioner in Blaxland, the Blue Mountains, Richmond and Online

Attachment-informed support for trauma, dissociation, anxiety, nervous system overwhelm and relational healing.

Jaclyn’s approach

I believe the relationship matters.

My approach to therapy is warm, relational and trauma-informed. I bring clinical knowledge, training and experience to the work, while recognising that you bring an important understanding of yourself, your experiences and what matters to you. Therapy is something we navigate together.

I am curious about what sits beneath the surface — the experiences, patterns, beliefs, protective responses and parts of self that can shape how we experience ourselves, others and the world. Rather than working from one particular approach, I draw from a range of evidence-informed therapies and frameworks, adapting the work to the person in front of me.

My practice draws primarily from EMDR and Relational Integrative EMDR, Resource Therapy, DBT, Polyvagal-informed practice, Imagery Rescripting and somatic approaches.

I understand that beginning therapy — or returning to it — can feel daunting. My hope is to offer a space that feels warm, genuine and human, where there is room for curiosity, reflection and meaningful therapeutic work at a pace that supports you.

I am a PACFA Accredited Clinical Counsellor & Supervisor, EMDRAA Accredited EMDR Practitioner, Advanced Clinical Resource Therapist & Trainer, and NSW Victims Services Counsellor.

We will go at your pace

Feeling emotionally and physically safe in therapy matters.

For me, this means creating a space where we can move at a pace that feels manageable for you. There is no expectation to share everything at once, or to go somewhere you are not yet ready to go.

Together, we can notice what is happening, what feels important, and what might need more time, support or preparation before we move closer to difficult experiences.

Sessions are available in person or online, allowing us to consider what feels most supportive and accessible for you.

Therapy doesn't need to be rushed. We can work with what is here, at a pace that supports the work.
